Acivs 2005 Social Program
The information below is still subject to change.
All registered attendants of Acivs 2005 may participate in all social activites without additional costs. However, you will have to reserve your free tickets for each event in order to participate. This allows us to estimate the number of participants more accurately and avoid unnecessary expenses.
Important notes:
- In case you change your plans, you can change your reservations at any time before August 15, 2005 using the link provided on your registration form. However, please only do this in exceptional circumstances.
- If you don't reserve tickets before August 15, 2005, we cannot guarantee your participation in that event.
- For users that register after August 15, 2005, the above deadline for modifications to the social program reservations does not apply.

Welcoming reception
Location: Rederij Flandria, Steenplein, 2000 Antwerpen. Tel. 03-231 31 00.
Date and time: Tuesday September 20, 2005, 19:00-21:00.
The reception will take place on a boat, which will make a trip on the river "Schelde" along the skyline of the centre of Antwerp.

Place of Departure: Conference building
Date and time: Thursday September 22, 2005, 14:15-19:00.

In the afternoon, a tourist trip through Antwerp is planned. We start from the conference venue. The trip includes a visit to the cathedral and the diamond museum. The trip will end at the restaurant where we will have the conference dinner.
Please be at the place of departure (conference building) no later than 14:15.

Date and time: Thursday September 22, 2005, 20:00-22:00.

Following the tourist trip, the conference dinner takes place in this Moroccan restaurant, with a typical atmosphere.
Note. Vegetarian food is available. Please select the corresponding option when you make the reservations for the social program. If you have any other special dietary requirements, please contact Paul.Scheunders@ua.ac.be.
Closing reception
Location: conference building.
Date and time: Friday September 23, 2005, 18:30-20:00.
We will end the conference with some drinks in the conference building.
Coffee breaks
Twice a day, coffee and (in the afternoons) some light refreshments will be served. No reservations are required for the coffee breaks.
