About Lecce

Getting to Lecce

By plane

Brindisi airport is the nearest airport to Lecce (35 Km). Daily flights connect Brindisi to the international airports of Rome (by Alitalia) and Milan (by Alitalia, and EasyJet).

The airport closest to the conference venue is Brindisi Casale, at 30 minutes driving distance from Lecce; taxis and shuttles are available just outside the airport.

Alternatively, you may land in Bari Palese airport(150 Km far from Lecce), take metro, taxi (fixed price EURO 20 from Bari airport to Bari city center) or shuttle to Bari central station and reach Lecce by train in approximately 2 hours. By train

Train trip options from any Italian city to Lecce central station are available at www.trenitalia.com. From the station to the conference venue The Conference venue is about 10 minutes walk.

By car

To reach Lecce by car from Rome is necessary to follow A1 highway, direction Naples, and then follow A 16 or A 14, direction Bari. Meanwhile, to reach Lecce by car from Milano is necessary to follow A 14 highway, direction Bari. Then to reach Lecce from Bari, for both routes, is necessary to follow main road 379, direction Lecce.
